What is spray plastering?
Airless spray plastering is the new way to plaster! This new system has transformed the way plaster is applied to your surfaces.
Instead of using traditional methods that involve manually mixing and spreading plaster by hand creating endless amounts of dust and mess, Airless spray plastering uses specialist spray equipment that applies our pre mixed, super white spray plaster directly to the surface delivering a cleaner, faster and far superior finish compared to traditional methods.
Benefits of Airless spray plaster.
When it comes to achieving a flawless and durable finish in spray plastering, incorporating a fiberglass mesh veil is one of the main advantages compared to using traditional methods.
Buildings naturally expand and contract due to temperature changes, humidity, and settling. The fiberglass mesh veil adds an added layer of flexibility to the finish, allowing it to accommodate for movements without cracking in the future unlike using traditional Gypsum plaster.
Our airless spray plaster typically dries within 12 - 24 hours. This allows all of the surfaces to be sanded using high powered LED lighting and dustless sanding systems, creating an ultra high quality finish with great efficiency.
Not only that but this also allows us to be able to apply paint the next day compared to the two week drying time with Gypsum plaster. This means we can quickly turn around your project with little to no mess, much faster than traditional methods.
Airless spray plaster can be applied directly to the surface without the need for a primer and can be applied as thin as you like up to a thickness of 5mm per coat. This means that there are many ways to save money by using this method of plastering.
As you can see, this also allows us to plaster the surfaces flawlessly without the need to replace any coving or plaster onto it.
